Out of Thousands of Dresses, These Are the 11 It Styles of the Summer

Without a doubt, 2018 was the year of the dress, and it appears 2019 is following suit. While we haven’t quite relinquished cosy layers just yet, jet-setting influencers (and those who have a high tolerance to chilly, changeable weather) have been flaunting gorgeous frocks for weeks.

Below, you’ll find eleven beautiful dresses, all of which we’ve have been given the seal of approval by multiple sartorially blessed women. The best part is, as it’s early in the season, they’re all still in stock, but we’re willing to bet our Manolos on the fact that they won’t be around for long.

From Zara’s pastel offering to the brand that has bestowed us with not one but two must-have styles, keep scrolling to see and shop 2019’s It dresses.

Style Notes: Monikh Dale, Jessie Bush and now Hannah Crosskey are wearing this open-back dress that has won the affections of so many influencers in such a short space of time.
Style Notes: Karina always finds the best pieces on the high street, and, of course, she was the first to snap up this H&M midi with a gathered waist and button-up collar. Wear it with loafers and a camel blazer for the office or pair it with strappy sandals and a clutch bag for after dark.
Style Notes: Ghost’s Jenna dress was undoubtedly one of 2018’s must-haves, and the brand’s new Alice midi looks destined for the same success. We’ve seen so many influencers wearing it, but Sarah steals the show with her coordinating yellow headband.
Style Notes: Lucy Williams has been wearing Faithfull the Brand’s new collection on repeat, but it was Sabina Socol’s sky blue floral midi dress that stopped us in our scrolling tracks.
Style Notes: Lilac is set to be huge this season, which is likely why fashion editor Penny zoned in on this Zara dress early. With a luxe tweed fabric and gorgeous gemstone buttons, it looks significantly more expensive than it actually is.
Style Notes: Gingham dresses are easy to come by, but none are as in-demand as Kitri’s hot pink iteration. Now that Jessie Bush is in on the act, we expect this beauty to sell out in a matter of days.
Style Notes: Monsoon is having a bit of a moment, with dresses serving as the brand’s star. With its tie-straps, square neckline, and tortoiseshell buttons, this  linen midi has gone straight to the top of our wish lists.
Style Notes: ICYMI, shirred details are a key design detail when it comes to summer dresses—Totême’s silk dress boasts gathered panels in all the right places.
Style Notes: So prevalent at Rixo’s dresses this season that two have made our edit. This polkadot slip is ideal for dressing up or down, and the thicker straps mean its bra-friendly, too.
Style Notes: No, you’re not seeing double—this is the mighty Evangelie Smyrniotaki and Tiffany Hsu who’ve both fallen for Self-Portrait’s yellow floral minidress. Indeed, with their combined influencer, we’re surprised this dress isn’t being flogged for four times its RRP on eBay right now.
Style Notes: Summer calls for wafty dresses, and none are more breezy than Sleeper’s cotton midi. The off-the-shoulder neckline and fitted bodice are offset with the billowing skirt and sleeves, making for an interesting play on proportions.
